From the 12th century this well documented building has remained a popular part of Nottingham’s heritage. The building was restored by a local builder in the late 90’s.

The original hall was mentioned in the Domesday book and was for over 150 years the ancestral home of the Byron family. At present there are facilities to host 5 events simultaneously, larger events such as weddings and graduation balls are held in either the ‘Ball room’ or the outdoor fixed marquee.
