Why we only focus on EDM: The science behind the music
Electronic Dance Music (EDM) DJ performances allow for much more manipulation of recorded music compared to playing a wide range of genres for parties because:

EDM DJs often use technology such as DJ software and controllers, which allow them to manipulate and mix tracks in real-time, adding effects, loops, and transitions to create a unique sound. This level of control is not possible when playing traditional music genres.
Flexibility
